Sinbad - Dreamworks final animated title?

Just saw this news over at DVD Town... http://www.dvdtown.com/announcement/...Seven_Sea/101/ along with this "and now some said news. Rumor tells so, that Sinbad will probably be the last animated movie from DreamWorks."

This is not good news at all because with Disney pumping out.... poodoo, it will be a big loss.

Last traditionally animated movie, maybe. I seriously doubt they're scrapping Shrek 2 or Sharkslayer at this point.

I've heard the same said about Disney recently, that Brother Bear would be their last traditionally animated movie.

Yeah, Disney has announced they're shutting down their traditional animation studios. If Dreamworks is too, then this really is NOT good news. I think Fox shut theirs down awhile ago, as well.

on the good side, this probably means that more Japanese Animated stuff will be getting shipped over. At least, that's good news for people who appreciate Anime. Thing is, not everyone does.

As long as Pixar stays in business, I'm okay.

Actually, according to this article, it is the one after "Brother Bear", "Home On The Range", which is going to be the last one. It looks like we are entering another dark ages of traditional animation, kinda like in the early 80s. Don't know if we will come out of this one, tho...

Oh well. If they like 2D animation, then they will have to get used to it.

Anime is so awesome!

as i see it...

traditional animation will be back, shortly after the influx of crappy 3D animation that is sure to flood the market in the next few years.
