Jim Henson's The Storyteller The Complete Collection was released today 8/26/03 and DVD Planet already has "Low Stock" listed.

An HTF "search" provided no info on the DVD. Has anyone viewed it or better yet, reviewed it?

Paul

Added: Synopsis: Featuring all of the original nine episodes: A Short Story, Sapsorrow, The Luck Child, The Soldier & Death, The Heartless Giant, The Three Ravens, The True Bride, Hans My Hedgehog, and Fearnot.

Mine is shipping from Canada today.

I recently saw the series again (it was shown here by the BBC), and was surprised at how soft focus it is, which I think is probably intentional.

I'm looking forward to replacing my old pre-recorded VHS copies, and fervantly hope that the DVD looks as good as, if not better than, my recent S-VHS recordings!

There's a review here:

Shame that the four part series with Michael Gambon hasn't been included as well, but this will do very nicely indeed until they get round to it...

Is this the old T.V. show where the old man sits at a fireplace in a rocking chair next to a dog, in the beggining of each episode? If so, I LOVED this when I was younger

Lo, there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers, Lo, there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning, Lo, they do call to me, they bid me take my place among them, In the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live...
