The reason I ask this question is because some people are paying up to $100.00 on e-bay and in the Disney store on line they are selling them but you have to call them.

Disney has been out for almost a year. It was a limited numbered release of 150,000. If you want one now, you're gonna have to pay. Beware of Ebay, though. Most of them seem to be bootlegs now.

Thank you Devin, Actually I bought it when it first came out.

Here is what it says when you try to buy it.

"Currently for sale.
To purchase this title call 1-800-723-4763. This title is not currently available for on-line purchase".

I guess is outdated.

Devin,

How do you know if it is a bootleg? I want to get the Goofy set but I don't want a bootleg.

Peter: If the description says anything about region 0 or "has Chinese characters" or has DTS, it's a bootleg. If there are a lot of auctions with the same title and description, especially if they have a low "Buy It Now" price, they're all likely bootlegs. If there's no metal case, it's certainly a bootleg.

If you sign up for the Disney Movie Club, you can get the Treasures in a set of 4:

Silly Symphonies
Disneyland
Mickey Mouse in Living Color
Davy Crockett

When you sign up, you get 3 free DVDs. You're required to buy 5 over a year's time, so if you buy 1 more regular DVD ($5 off list price) and the set of 4 Treasures, each for $30, you'll get 8 DVDs for about $135 plus shipping. The Treasures are in the original sealed tins.

Call this number 1-800-362-4587.

(I'm not a Disney employee or anything. I just did this myself, just now.)
