I assume you are looking for concept videos like they played on MTV (as opposed to concert videos). I bought a couple music video compiliations on DVD at DVD Empire. They seem to be mostly 80s videos, although some are from the 90s. Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran are on a couple of them. Do a search on DVD Empire for "Big Hits." Under the Customers Also Bought section, you'll find others in the series--I think there are about 10 total. Not the greatest quality in the world, but I found them acceptable.

P.S.--That Duran Duran DVD set sounds great

That Duran Duran DVD looks the biz. I can't wait to see them live in Glasgow next year.

I remember seeing some of those Big Hits DVD collections in Virgin Megastore. I'll check them out. Hopefully Huey, Billy Idol etc can release a video collection DVD soon. Man I love the 80's!

Craig, how do you know they're going to be in Glasgow next year? According to their website none of the tour dates are announced yet.

"Oh Mikey do you think I even know what the hell they are talking about half the time? I dont know whether they are talking about how hard it is to be adopted or how their father never shows them love. All I do man, is I wrinkle my eyebrows, stare at their lips and somehow I turn out to be some big sweetie." - Trent Walker (Swingers - 1996)

There's been rumors of a 25 date tour of the US starting in November. And if memory serves, there is a rumored world tour next year...IF the new album ever comes out.

I was wondering if the Meatloaf DVD has the MTV videos or if it is concert footage?

Dead or Alive has a new DVD compilation out in R2. Includes all their 80's videos, as well as the full-length Rip It Up concert from Japan as an extra. Obviously, the title is a nod to Pete Burns' ever-changing appearance.

Promotional Videos:
1. You Spin Me Round (2003 version)
2. Brand New Lover 12"
3. Something In My House
4. Turn Around & Count 2 Ten 12"
5. Come Home With Me Baby 12"
6. Lover Come Back
7. In Too Deep
8. Save You All My Kisses
9. Your Sweetness is Your Weakness
10. Hooked on Love
11. My Heart Goes Bang
12. That's The Way
13. I'd Do Anything
14. You Spin Me Round (original)

Special Features:
1. Rip it Up Live in Japan (full length concert)
2. Lover Come Back from Razzmatazz (10th April 1985)
3. Misty Circles from Razzmatazz (21st June 1983)
4. Flowers from Celebration (20th November 1980)
5. It's Been Hours Now from Exchange Flags (1982)
6. Rebel Rebel

Not sure why it doesn't include some of the newer tracks from the Nukleopatra and Fragile albums.
