Blind Buy - Cary Grant Collection

Hi

Is Cary Grant Collection (Father Goose/The Grass is Greener/Indiscreet/Operation Petticoat/That Touch of Mink) collection worth a blind buy?

Thanks in advance

If you like Cary Grant, and those kind of comedies, then most certainly.

I can only speak of "Operation: Petticoat" and "Father Goose".

"Operation: Petticoat" is a classic, as far as I'm concerned. Cary Grant and Tony Curtis at their best. All the hijinx getting a beat up, pink submarine to survive WWII is quite hilarious. "Father Goose" is a lesser comedy, but still quite enjoyable with him having to deal as a castaway dealing with a bunch of kids and their caregiver.

If you like more of the comedy side of Cary Grant, rather than his romantic side, this is probably a good collection.

Jason

I have Operation Petticoat, That Touch of Mink, and Father Goose.

IMO, all are quite enjoyable. I had never before seen Father Goose, and found it to be surprisingly charming.

Cheers

If you're in any way a Cary Grant fan, these titles would be in your collection already! Since they are not, I'm presuming you aren't particularly a Grant buff so I wouldn't suggest a blind buy, rent them first.
