FOX Double Dipping Again?!?

The Other day I saw I saw "The Abyss", "Castaway", and "Independence Day" up for another 2 Disc set!! Does this mean that FOX is coming out with new versions of these movies?? Somebody please shed some light... Is the Abyss finally going to be Anamorphic?? And are there new features? or are they just re-releasing their old OOP Double Disc Sets??

BTW, I saw these at Best Buys Website.

The artwork is different to all previous editions, if that means anything.

Probably reissues, which are showing up at Costco according to recent threads.

Yeah, I saw these today at Costco as a matter of fact. I saw Cast away, Moulin Rouge, Independence Day, and Fight Club. They had discount coupon for Daredevil with it, $5 I think. So it seems to be a promotion for the Daredevil DVD as well.

i think that mr statton has said in a chat or thread that eventually the 2 disk oops will re-appear. for various reasons. promo-, etc...

In the info part it says number of discs: 1.

Yes, It does say that the number of discs is 1, but they say that about alot of thier 2 disc sets. I'm confident It's a 2 disc set because it says (2pc). I just want to know if anyone has any details on new features for the discs.

The Costco around the corner from me presently has a couple of dozen of Fight Club 2-Disc SE's. As well as (seemingly) every other of the big 2-disc SE's Fox has ever put out: French Connection, Die Hard, MASH, Abyss, ID4, Castaway, and Moulin Rouge. I think X-Men 1.5 was in there, too.

This is all-new in the past couple of days, and promotes Daredevil as mentioned. All titles have the original covers and artwork.
