Multi region help

If a person was considering buying a region free dvd player what titles are out there with anamorphic,widescreen, DTS or just plain old titles that are not available in region 1?
Bend it like Beckham is one that comes to mind. Thanks in advance for the info.

DVDTalk has a huge list. Just wait for the domestic Beckham so you don't have to put up with the speedup. PAL speedup+Indian singing= windowbreaking

DVDasian has a pretty decent 2 disc set currently available. I doubt the region 1 version will have more features and since it is a region 3 ntsc disc you wont have to worry about the speed up.

anamorphic 1.85:1 transfer
dolby digital 5.1 sound
Director commentary
Deleted scenes
Music video
Trailers
and a behind the scenes featurette

Disc 2: cd soundtrack

R2: West Wing. Currently the whole of season 1, and the first half of season 2 are available, the second half is out in July.

Italian Job (Original, but coming to Region 1)
