Rocky Horror framing questions

I believe this is a 1.66 to 1 transfer, however, on my 16x9 set, I have a black bar on the left hand side, but not one on the right. None of my other 1.66 aspect ratio films have this problem (black bars are symmetrical on both sides of the screen). Does anyone else have this problem, or do I have a bad disc. Thanks!

Does anyone else own this disc? If so, can you tell me if your picture has black bars on both sides, or just the left.

It could be a sight non-symmetry in your set's overscan, a slight non-symmetry in the windowboxing of the film, or a combination of both.

Thanks for the info guys, all of my other discs seem fine including the other 1.66 transfers, but my symmetry might be off slightly. Thanks again.
