It only has the soundtrack as the third disc.

Well, the cover couldn't be any worse than the American one.

I'm confused. So is this going to be the same situation like with Brotherhood of the Wolf where, if i want the version that's packed with extras, i should buy the Canadian release instead of the American version ?

On closer inpspection, it does appear that the Canadian 2-disc edition has more features than the US. Anyone care to help with this?

I doubt there'll be any difference in A/V quality since the first disc has the exact same content as the US release (ie. a DTS, DD5.1, and 2.0 track). In the case of Brotherhood of the Wolf, the Canadian version had an additional DTS track therefore leaving less space for the video transfer which then suffered.

The extras for the Canadian one are all put on a second disc whereas the US release has it on side B of the flipper...though there does seem to be more extras for the Canadian one.

Of course, I'm just guessing here.

That's good to hear, I will probably be buying the 3 disc canadian DVD then.. Looks like the cover isn't bilingual either.

You can bet the pictures are just theatrical posters used place-holders for when the real covers come.

There's no DVD logo on them, and both the 2-disc and 3-disc have the exact same picture - they'd have to differentiate the two.

So we don't know what the covers will really look like.

How much shipping time does ordering from Canada normally add? I've never done it before, so any other differences I should know about from ordering from American-based sites?

If these are the covers for the Canadian 3-Disc release, that'll be great. The U.S. version is horrible, with a third of the cover taken up by the oscar banner. And it also has the heads being to big as well. The canadian cover, likethe poster art, is very effective and subtle.
