Here's something sweeter that I had forgotten about Warner Bros' upcoming 2-disc Robin Hood: twelve minutes of footage will be reincorporated back into the film, bringing the new running time to 155 minutes.

This release just keeps getting better and better.

There doesn't seem to be too many extras on disc 2 though.

With Warner Bros. that's kind of a standard with most of their widescreen releases especially now a days.

If you're in the UK, I suggest avoiding the Region 2 disk as its had about 20 seconds edited out by the BBFC.

Warners is releasing the 1938 version this coming September. It will be a two disc special edition. That month will also see Yankee Doodle Dandy and The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, both special two disc versions.

Oscar, if that's the John Morgan I think it is, then his word is good enough for me!

Read the "Biography" to understand how he would know these things.
