A question for all the fellow Canadians?

What has your cross border Audio Advisor purchase been like? I'm thinking of buying an Athena AS-P6000 subwoofer from www.audioadvisor.com for $300US.

I'm prepared to pay approx 30% extra for taxes and duties, but is there anything else I should worry about?

Has the price of shipping always been accurate on your order? It's telling me that shipping is $2 for this 12" sub.

Basically, just looking for you tell me about your experience.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered a subwoofer on Nov. 24th. Today is Dec. 6th and I'm still waiting for it to be shipped.

They had some technical difficulties and trouble shipping, but they eventually got it out two weeks after the order. It arrived in 6 days though!! WOW!

I have to say that their telephone service was excellent. Always someone there to answer my questions, and they were a pleasure to deal with aside from the small delay.
