Question about Netflix, Greencine and WalMart

Does any of these internet rental places carry dvds that have been re-released with improved dvd presentations like the following.
  • The English Patient
  • Panic Room
  • Das Boot (Original Theatrical Version)
  • Ali (Director's Cut)
  • Black Hawk Down (Superbit)

G.W. McLintock: Camille, you're on your own.

Robert,
In regards to Netflix, they carry the upgraded editions of some films but not others. The 2-disc English Patient is available, though it's not clear to me if the first disc is from the old edition or the new; the others you mention are the old versions. They don't seem to be entirely consistent on what they upgrade, though they do seem to upgrade a lot of titles. Plus, you can at least request that they carry the upgraded title.

Regarding Netflix: they are, for example, carrying the new version of Casablanca, yet it still shows the cover graphics for the previous edition. I wish that they would be a little more precise in their listings (for example, date of issue in addition to the original release date of the movie).
