Wall Amp

After spending a good amount of cash on an inwall sub, I latter found out that I need a seperate amp to power it. I will probally never buy audio equiptment from best buy. Well any way my whole reason for puting the sub in the wall was to have a tiddy apperance without cludder. Can anyone recomend a decent plate amp for a single 10" Sub 150 - 300 Watts RMS. Please help. What I hve now is a 10" hole in the wall. I read that Dayton makes good stuff

Re: Wall Amp

keiga makes a very good amp, cost is a little higher then dayton.. i have two subs with 1000 watt keiga amps and two active towers with 400 watt keiga amps and they do sound awesome...or i would look for an ab international 900 on e-bay for around $275.00 bridge that baby and you got 800 watts going into an 8ohm load so you would have way over 1000 watts going to your sub, that baby would come right out of the wall...........

Re: Wall Amp

That seems like overkill to me the sub I have can only handle 350RMS, any way thanks for you input keep it coming. I guess I'm looking more at the lower end of the scale I was thinkin gof no more than $100

Re: Wall Amp

keep in mind plate amps are rated at 4 ohms besides there is no such thing like overkill.
