Struggled a bit to find pricing info on this thing till I learnt it was the same as the AVR 2106, which is black (886 is silver).

A well rated Amazon.com dealer is selling a NEW AVR-2106 for $288 + $50 s/h.

As they say, you do the math.

I bought the 786 new a year ago for $350. If the 886 is anything like the 786 yes it is a good receiver, but as others have said, you should get a better deal than that.
