Best 5.1/7.1 HT receiver for under $1000 ?

Hello everyone,

I am looking to upgrade my current 2.1 stereo system (15 years old) to a 5.1 or 7.1 system and need help. I would like a decent system, but am looking to keep the price under $1000 (closer to $800 if I can manage).

My current front speakers are Paradigm 5seMK3's with a passive Paradigm SB-100 sub. I am thinking I need to add an amp to the sub, and am thinking I can move my current speakers to rears and buy new fronts.

I would appreciate any assistance on the best choice of receiver for my set up. It would be mostly HT -90% and music 10%.

OK, i've done some more research, it looks to me like my best options for a receiver are the

Yamaha RX-V861 or the
Marantz SR7001

The Marantz is about $250 more, the question is... is it worth it?, I hope to keep the receiver for a while and not replace it with "next years model".

I also an looking at Paradigm Monitor 9's with Paradigm centre and rear speakers (CC-290, and 2 ADP-190's) to go with this system.

So which receiver? I appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks.

Nevermind, I ended up buying the Yammy. Now just have to wait till I get the order in.
