My forthcoming buy: Onkyo HTS680 HTiB

Hey guys,
My Onkyo HTS680 is going to be delivered this weekend. Now, the main reason behind choosing this model was budget constraints. I tried to measure it from price/performance perspective & as far as the demo went, I found the performance quite decent.
But, just for a second opinion, I would like to ask you guys whether you have any reviews on this ?

Thanks in advance.

What was your budget? I could recomend something else but it seems kinda late for that. My roomate has a Onkyo htib and I feel it is very lacking. It runs way to hot at normal listening levels even with the volume turned down. And the video section degades the picture via componet video. The speakers are kinda cheap and my 10 yr old Yamaha runs circles around it and it does not even have component video and is only a 5.1. Another reason I am not crazy about the Onkyo HTIB is from what I have seen they seem to rate there receivers power at 1KHz instead of 20Hz to 20KHz.

I would look into Denon if its not to late and if you have not allready received you Onkyo yet.

Re: My forthcoming buy: Onkyo HTS680 HTiB

Thanks Dave. Indeed, it's late cause I got the stuff delivered yesterday. The Onkyo's frying capability is somewht true which I realised yesterday itself after turning up the system, but, it could be due to various factors I think. As far as video is concerned, I'm not that worried as of now.

Thanks again.
