Hooking up Two rooms - What receiver / amp combo?
Help!! And I can't talk tech...I just want to be sure I purchase a receiver (and or amplifier) that will have enough output and handling for what I need.
I already have the speakers.
I need to know what I need to run them (up till we were given these speakers, we have had a little home stereo) which I know can't handle six speakers, but mind you.. I have a daughter in private school and a mortgage I can barely pay....so needs to be affordable. I just want to listen to music out by the pool (yes, have outdoor speakers) and in the front room, I would like to have A/V hooked up to the four speakers. I will definately add a center-channel later and a powered sub. What does that equal = A
Little $$$ + 6 speakers (8 Ohm) / 2 (room+pool) = A or A,B
A=Receiver - What do you recommend?
B=Amp - Start with it, or not right now?
