Upconverting Standard Cable
I'm about to buy a new receiver and I just have standard cable(analog channels through coaxial cable) in my apartment. If I buy an upconverting receiver is there a way to pass the standard channels through the receiver to get the benefit of the upconversion from the receiver?
I've seen a lot of posts about passing digital cable from the cable box to the receiver and then to the TV, but not anything about standard cable. This is something I need to have resolved before I'm willing to purchase a receiver that will cost $400. Any info would be great. Thanks.
