Pioneer VSX53-TX Issue

I'm having a problem where one of the audio outs on my cable box seems to be broken, so when I plug it into my receiver (a VSX53-TX, as noted) I can only get sound out of one speaker. Is there a way to tell the receiver to spoof the sound to the other channels? I don't really care about true stereo, I just don't want to have to turn the receiver up super high to actually be able to hear anything.

Get thee to thine local Radio Shack and purchase an RCA jack splitter. Hook up said splitter to the one channel that does work and run stereo cables from the splitter to your receiver. That ought to do the trick. Given the fidelity of most cable companies, I'd be surprised if you were getting true stereo anyway.
