Orb Audio People's Choice + Receiver Question
I posted this in the speaker section last night and haven't gotten any responses or too many views.
after thinking about it, it is pretty much a receiver question more than a speaker question so here it goes:
let me run down my home entertainment to this point
50" Samsung DLP HLR5078WX
Dish Network HDTV - HD component
Up converting HDMI Samsung DVD player of some sort
eVGA 7900GT superclocked runing dual monitors via VGA plug
I'm looking at this receiver:
Onkyo TX-SR804
and the Orb Audio People's Choice.
Is there a way to get better performance for a home theater under $1700?
i'm looking for THX cert and capability to go to 7.1 when i get a bigger living room. basically, i want a receiver that I wont out grow just because i need slightly bigger sound.
