I was just wondering if any performance would be lost between the two receivers? Mainly instead of going with the Denon 2807 going with the Onkyo TX-SR674

The Denon is around $1099 while the Onkyo is around $599. The Onkyo doesn't have as much wattage 95 vs. 110. Also, the Onkyo may have one less input/output then the Denon in certain areas. Otherwise a comparison of the two on Crutchfield is pretty much the same. Both have 1080p switching as well and 2 HDMI inputs. I've heard nothing but good about the 2807, but was wondering if the Onkyo would do just as good of a job outputting sound. From reading these forums I believe the Onkyo had issues with 1080p switching. I'm not to concerned with that, I'm just curious if both receviers would output sound differently.

I seriously doubt if you could hear a difference in the two AVRs.
