Onkyo TX-SR803 for $259. Good deal?
Hi guys, been a long time since I visited here. Well my Proton prepro is dying and I was casually looking at a replacement and found the SR803 at an electronics store for $259. It came with a manual but no remote BUT the guys at the store let me program my Pronto with another remote and now I have the remote too.
So is this a good receiver for this price? I have 7 days to return it but it seems pretty impressive based on a review I read which said it has a very good pre amp section and that is what I want. I haven't been home to hook it up yet but thought I'd get some feedback here first.
Too much power is never an overkill!
