audio/video cabinets

does anyone know where I can get a audio/video cabinet for my home theater room with mesh front cabinet covers so you cant see the lights onthe equipment and still use the remote through the mesh. Or is there other types of cabinets I can look at.

Re: audio/video cabinets

What price range?

www.mander.com Has both mesh and frosted glass. I have frosted glass on mine and the remotes all still work through them. You can still see the lights somewhat, but it really cuts down on them. They ain't exactly inexpensive though...

You can always use a cabinet with a solid door and use an IR repeter, but closed doors trap heat too, unless you have an open back.

Anthony,

I close this second thread about the subject, and hereby ask anyone to reply in your other thread, asking the same in the HT Construction, Interiors and Automation area.
