I recently purchased a Sony KDL 40XBR3 LCD and a Toshiba HD-A2 HD DVD and want to buils a system 5.1 around these. I want to set this up in a small area about
20'x15" with 7' ceiling.
Can anyone recommend what AV Receiver speakers and sub I should get.
I'd like to be able to utilize the latest HDMI tech on my receiver and have looked at stuff from Onkyo,Denon,Yamaha, but can't decide and would greatly appreciate any advise.

Here's an excellent system for $2,000:

Front speakers: Axiom M3, $320
Center: Axiom VP100, $250
Surrounds: Axiom QS4, $420
Subwoofer: HSU VTF-2 MK 3, $500 (note: this is an update the the VTF-2 MK 2, its linked off HSU's homepage)
Receiver: Pioneer VSX1016TXVK, $400
Cabling: Monoprice or Blue Jeans Cable, $110

Total: $2,000

You will also want to budget for speaker stands, a surge protector (APC or TrippLite) and a Universal Remote (Logitech Harmony). Enjoy!
