Best Receiver for XBOX360 + HD-DVD

Just got the HD-DVD add-on for my Xbox 360. I have an old Technics receiver that does Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1

Is it worth upgrading my receiver? What can I experience with the Xbox 360 that my current receiver isn't delivering? What is a good match up for the Xbox360?

Ur receiver should do well as nothing comes to mind that u would be missing out. I have a similar set up with an aging Denon 3802 which does EX and ES.

As long as your receiver can handle component video and coax or optical audio you should be fine.
