Bridging 2 receivers??
I have a Pioneer Elite 52tx and on older Pioneer 9700S. Is there a way to bridge them together to get more power for the rears, or fronts , or whatever??.....
Thanks,

You may be able to strap them to a Dual Voice Coil subwoofer, the speaker may be receiving two seperate channels though, so I dont advise it.

Re: Bridging 2 receivers??
They both have preamp hookups on the back..Is there no way to use the 9700S as an amp just for the rear? or maybe the B speakers ?

Re: Bridging 2 receivers??
Come on guys...I know there is a way to do something like this...I see in AudioVideo magazines all the time for years, people with 2-5 receivers all in one unit..They have to be hooked up together somehow??

Re: Bridging 2 receivers??
Whatever your main reciever is, connect your surround and center speakers directly. Then, using the 5.1 pre-amp-output (RCA style), connect a simple RCA cord from the front left and front right input into any input on the other reciever. Tune that reciever to stereo mode, plug your front left and right speakers directly into it, and there u go. One reciever will only amp the front r/l, the other will handle center and surround duties. Oh, and the decoding will all be done by the first reciever.
This is roughly off the top of my head, no guarantees...
