What receiver for the HSU VT-12 and STF-2

I believe I am going to purchase these speakers and subs pretty soon for my new HT but also wanted to know which receiver would be good. My local shop suggested the YAMAHA RXV-559 and I found it for $300, which is my budget. BUt looking on the HSU website They said that Onkyo sounds best with them. SO I guess the question is what reciever for around 300 would be good for these speakers.

look into the pioneer VSX 1016v (about $350-400), I just got it and very happy with it, running Def tech Sm450 set up with them and it sounds great, I did a lot of reseach on the V12 and acctually listen to them before i dicided not to get them, they sound great, those little speakers go a long way, My room was a bit too large for the V12, as far as the sub, i only listend to the stf-1, it sounded great but i got a deal on 2 Bic100 for about $385 so i jump on it (now i got a 5.2 system

), You should look into the new VTF-1 sub by hsu,
