yamaha YHT-270 vs. panasonic SC-HT40

I know from what i read you guys dont generally dont seem all that fond of htib setups but i have $200 in best buy gift cards and i cant really find much else to get. so im looking at these two systems. Id post a link to them but im not allowed. they are both on best buys website at the top and bottom of the page listing the home theatre systems withOUT dvd players.

Granted the price difference is 100$ and would require me to spend $100 what i was wondering is which one you would go with if these were your two options and is it worth the $100 more. Only thing i really noticed was the yamaha system has dolby pro logic II where as the panasonic has I. however the panasonic system seemed to have a higher rms rated standalone woofer at 150rms compared to 100. so what do you think i should go with? I was reading lots of good ratings and reviews for the yamaha setup so i think im leaning that route but if you have any insight its greatly appreciated. thanks

I think that the Panasonic actually has Dolby Pro Logic II. Anything that has Dolby Digital and DTS almost certainly has Dolby Pro Logic II. I took a look at the Best Buy web site and I think that the Panasonic is a better buy than that Yamaha. But if you really want a top notch HTIB, the $400 Yamaha 370 is a top rated product.
