Best HD compat receiver with ON-SCREEN
I started many years ago with a (don't laugh) Marantz AV controller and separate amps.
The ONE great thing about it was EVERYTHING was displayed on screen, (volume, menus, setup, etc) in every mode that it supported.
for a variety of reasons I upgraded to a Pioneer receiver, and now only SOME things are displayed, depending on what mode everything is in.
What receiver supports on-screen everything even in HD (HDMI, Component, etc...) modes.
