Spiders in the basement

I have spiders in my basement theater. My wife and I are considering using bug bombs, but I want to make sure it will not have an effect on my electronics. Am I being paranoid? Do any of you know anyone that has had problems after using bug bombs?

Re: Spiders in the basement

I'm not sure about the stereo equipment. But one can only imagine the helpful health affects on the residents of filling the air with poison particles which will then coat every surface and crevice in the room with the residue from such a device...

There are books that can be bought describing natural safe substances that will get rid of spiders and other bugs.

I personally would not "bomb" down there in case it might go into your electronics and I wouldn't want the residue all over everything else. I would call a good exterminator, we got clover mites early this year and with two applications they were gone. We didn't even smell any chemicals.
