STR-DE998 Receiver and JBL scs300.7 speaker system

Hey Guys,
I bought a STR-DE998 Receiver and JBL scs300.7 speaker system.
I'm trying to hear Surround whille Watching dvd with 5.1 Audio Track.
The only Way i am able to hear from the back Right/left speakers is when
i am choosing "A.F.D." all other Modes (Movies/music...) Wont give me the back Speakers.
I've made a "Test tone" check and it all works fine.
If someone Has this system or familer with it, Help me here

A.F.D means Auto Format Decode and will generally be preset for correct speaker use. The other modes are customizable (AFD usually is also) and may not be set for the speaker setup that you have.

Some modes are specifically designed for reproducing sound when some speakers are not present (no center speaker, no rears, no subwoofer, etc).

I have found that you need to pull out the manual, start at page one, and go through it page by page. If you try to skip ahead, you'll probably miss something.
