Speaker 'A' Runs With 5.1/Sub- Is Speaker 'B' Output Full Range?

I'm setting up a system for someone, and will be utilizing the 'B' speaker outputs; are they generally full-range, even when the main speakers are crossed over at the receiver?
I was not planning on a sub for the 2nd pair of speakers, but would it be needed?
The receiver in question is a NAD T753...

Usually A/B speakers are meant for either/or, so they will use the same settings.

And if you plan on using both speakers at the same time they will each only get half the power. It will also put a larger strain on the receiver, so be careful with loud volumes.

The only way to safely double your money is to fold it over once and place it back in your pocket.

A and B are exactly the same thing. They are physically the same amp channel, so whatever is playing on A is also on B. Be careful running two sets of speakers at the same time this way.

I just hooked up the 'B' speakers today, and they do not utilize the sub, so somehow the receiver runs them full range.

I know this is different than the replies, so I figured I'd post the results...
