Amp to power Infinity Perfects in the house?

I have a couple of Infinity Perfect 10.1 from my friends old car audio system and I'm looking to hook them up in the house. I know I know car subs, home theater application - whatever. I still want to give it a shot.

I'm looking at a budget of about $300 - is it best to look towards pro audio amps or a couple of plate amps from partsexpress? I'd rather do the pro audio amp, but I'd need one with a low frequency filter wouldn't I?

no ideas? Do I need an amp with a low frequency filter if I can do LFE out of the receiver?

First, you need to know the specs of the subs. Many car subs run at 2 ohms. Most HT amplifiers run at 8 or 4 ohms.

Or you can get a car audio amp and a DC converter.

The receiver will handle the filter.

The only way to safely double your money is to fold it over once and place it back in your pocket.

they're 4 ohm subs. I was thinking something like a Crown CLS-402B. Is QSC any good? They have a couple old school cheap options that have a lot of power.
