buzz in my sub rotel processor, denon DVD

I know this is a shot in the dark but here goes. I had a Denon 5803 amp and a Denon 3910 DVD player. With this set up my sub had no buzz. I decided to go to separates. Now I have a Rotel 1090 amp, and a Rotel 1068 processor, with same Denon DVD player and same sub. Now I get a buzz in my sub. All other speakers are silent (no buzz). The loudness of the buzz is linked to what my DVD player is doing. If it's playing a DVD or CD, the buzz is very slight. But if I stop or pause the player, the buzz gets very loud. If I turn everything on except the DVD player, the sub is silent (no buzz). Having played a DVD, if I power off the DVD player, the buzz will continue in the sub for about 30 seconds then will go silent. I've tried playing with where I plug things in, relative to outlet, to no avail. I'm stumped.

Thanks,

Is the DVD player plugged into the same outlet as the amp and processor?

No Signature...How boring is that!
