Help with Harman Kardon AVR230

Hello all,

Just bought this receiver today and when i turn it on the LED indicator stays Orange rather than blue as indicated by the manual (Tried from Receiver and remote to turn it on).

Is the unit faulty ?

P.S The recevier is not connected to anything and tried connecting speakers + equip to it but it won't budge.

There is a power button and a standby button. Pressing power just puts it in standby until you hit the standby button. The power button is the top one (it stays pushed in when you push it) and the standby button is the bottom one.

i am aware of that
problem is it stays orange even when i press it
i tried resetting it (pressing on tone mode while in standby) but it still won't budge

That is the auto-protect mode. where did you buy it?

I bought it the official .il supplier of HK
is there any way to disable it ?
