Hey guys. my L/R 2 channel HT amplifier died and is in need of replacement. Am considering using an integrating with HT bypass so I can run CD, etc. through the integrated and bypass the pre/pro (B&K ref 30).
What's out there? Have found a few (Odyssey Cyclops with HT bypass upgrade, some preamps like the ARC and rogue). I'm not too familiar with some of the British gear (TAG,etc.)
My 5 channel amp is a HK Signature 5 x100wpc. It is OK, but I would like an upgrade from that. Speakers are Paradigm Studio 20s with an infinite baffle sub. I guess i will lose the sub with an integrated? Might be an argument for just getting a new power amp (as opposed to an integrated).
Trying to hang around the $500 mark. Looking at used stuff primarily to maximize my $.
