Sonance Cinema 5150

I've seen this amp for sale a few times on Audiogon and eBay. It was made by ATI for Sonance. It is 85 pounds, THX Ultra certified with specs of 165 watts at 8 ohms all channels driven. Anyone own this amp or know someone who does that can tell me about its qualities? Thanks in advance.

Hi George. We're using a 5150 that we just picked up used (mint). We're using it with our Integra 6.5 AVR (Pre-outs), and we're pushing Polk LSi15's, LSiC & LSi9's. The LSi's are all 4ohm, so it really brings them to life. We thought they sounded good without any other amp except the AVR (100 watts at 8 ohm), but the 5150 really fits well into our system, and creates a significant difference in the sound of our setup. We recommend it, keeping in mind that it's only 5 channel, we'll probably add a 2 channel amp (for the fronts only) once we move to 7.1 (at 5.1 now)
