As the title states, I need a 2-ch amplifier. My budget is in the $500-600 dollar range. I also want something with a bit more punch to it, no 100wpc ones.

I saw two QSC Amps on Parts Express (can't link here), a PLX1202 and a PLX1602.

The first one is about $600 and the other $500. How would they fare?

What speakers and other electronics are you using with this amp. At that price range I think you should consider used. Lots of good honest sellers over at audiogon.com classifieds if you can't stomach ebay.
