list of receivers and their bass management capabilities
It seems as though bass mgmnt is still a mystery to everyone including the manufacturers. There is no standard, there is no one way that will make everything better either. but there doenst even seem to be a list of who has what?! therefore, Ill try to make a list in the first post of receivers/pre-pro's with their BM capabilities.
I dont know of any currently, but it would be best if you knew what your receiver/pre-pro did, then posted it here. I will try to consolidate what is posted back in this initial first post.

wow 53 looks and no one knows enough to post what the specs on their BM is...
I assume the higher end market units have an adjustable xover, ive seen them increment at 5 hz from 50 to 100 or something like that. The lower end ones like mine, have a fixed point which really sucks if you have a good sub cause IMO, you shouldnt hear where the sub is coming from.
My little pre/pro is set at 100 hz, which sucks and when my mains are set to small, it goes up to 120 hz which really sucks, but in my small apt, it really doesnt matter that much.
I guess the point of this post is to see what options in BM are desireable. if you got to design your own sub xover, what whould you want on it? phase control?, 30Hz boost?, 5hz incremental x over point from 30hz to 100 hz?, thats about all I can think of, anyone else??

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but I'll bite.
My Pio VSX-810 crossover points are 100, 150 and 200. However, when using the analog inputs for DVD-A and SACD, this option is bypassed. Therefore I have to rely on the players ability to handle BM. (563A)

My HK 525 has triple crossover settings. You can set front, center,& surrounds individualy at 40,60,80,100,120,200. Also digital bass management for the analog imputs for dvd audio/sacd.
