Need inexpensive amp
I am looking for a 2 channel amp to power a second zone. Its going to be driving some small speakers that dont require a lot of power. The problem is I dont usually see low wattage 2 channel amps anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions?

Adcom's GFA-535 would be good.
You call that a knife?

Andrew:
You might want to take a look at Harman's EBay store. They auction factory refurbished amps, and there are usually several PA2000's available. They are shipped directly from Harman and carry the full manufacturer's warranty (2 years).

Thanks Angelo, I just put a bid on one. The problem is I have never seen HK amps in stores before, or Sony ones for that matter, only receivers so I didnt know what was available. This HK PA 2000 seems to be exactly what I need, didnt like I would get so lucky.

I don't think h/k amps have been readily available in brick and mortar stores for a while. Circuit City used to carry the PA2000 in their stores, IIRC, and still sells them on-line.
There is also the PA4000, which is, essentially, two PA2000's in one chassis. I think you'll be happy with this amp.

Parasound makes some ZAMPs as well, which are 2x30 if memory serves, and the unit is quite compact. I've seen them around on eBay/Audiogon.
You could also get a used Parasound 2x75 (HCA-750A) for a few hundred online used as well if/when they pop up.
The H/K though is a steal if you can get it for a nice low bid. Too bad harmanaudio won't ship to Canada.
I gave up on tracking my collection and actually started watching what I have.

Would the PA2000 be good for powering my mains? Ive been toying with the idea of a seperate amp for my fluance sv10's that im currently running off of my kenwood vr6070. Or if i add this could i use it to bi amp my speakers? using the kenwood and the hk? I think i might be getting in over my head at this point. I dont spend much money so a few times a year i like to splurge on something i dont need. Oh its great being 19 with 90% disposable income.

IIRC, it means If I Recall Correctly. At least that's what I think. If not, LMK!
FWIW, that one took me a while to. IMO all these do is confuse people. lol
It's boring at work today.
