Quad amp power up

I have a Quad 405 amp that I just dragged out of storage to power the front speakers of my HT. The Quad has no on-off switch. Should I just leave it on all the time or link it via my trigger to go on when the pre amp is turned on?

I expect that since there’s no power switch the manufacturer intended for it to be kept on. Either that or they originally provided for some other means to turn it off and on.

I don’t see how powering it from your pre-amp trigger could hurt.
