Denon 3803 Display

Should the "Multi" or the "REC" always be lit on the display. It seems one of the two is always lit and I can't get them to go off.

Yes, one or the other is always on. It is telling you what source is selected for either the zone 2 output, or the source that is being sent to the rec out jacks.

The only way to safely double your money is to fold it over once and place it back in your pocket.

"Normal" would be "REC" as far as I understand it.
