I narrowed down what I want for a receiver and just placed my order with 6th Ave for the Denon 1804. I'm passing this info on because I know there are a few people that have got this from 6th Ave for $355 (instead of the MSRP $499) saying they want the 1803 and getting the 1804 at the price of the 1803. It's true. But the guy on the phone told me that this special ends today! So if there are still some of you interested in this receiver, it sounds like the clock is ticking. 6th Ave is an authorized Denon retailer and the receivers are not refurbished. ...Oh, I almost forgot the price is now $369. A little bit more cash but an awesome deal anyway. You don't need to beat around the bush with the deal, just tell them about this 'special'. They know exactly what you're talking about and I have heard from others that they sort of depend on the word of mouth that these forums provide.
