Am thinking of getting rid of the Pioneer 811 and trying something else? Any suggestions to go with my Parasound 855a?

Don't want to spend more than say $800...

Some that I have been looking into:
Onkyo NR801
HK AVR230 - recommended by others
Outlaw 950

I don't like sony/yammies/ that much

Thinks I would like out of it:
Pre-outs
Adjustable crossovers for all speakers(especially the sub)
5/6 channel stereo(use it for watching sports)
PLII(nice for old VCR movies)

If I wait I might be able to spend more....so what receivers out there are upgradeable as in can download updates from the net?

chad

Chad,

i saw in the deals page, that you could an HK7200 for $854 from onecall...of course it doesn't look like you need the power.

i have one, and is very nice indeed

Mike

Now they show you how detergents take out bloodstains, a pretty violent image there. I think if you\'ve got a T-shirt with a bloodstain all over it, maybe laundry isn\'t your biggest problem. Maybe you should get rid of the body before you do the wash.

Mike,
I am looking for a better match with my Parasound. Something that has a little more flexibility if you know what I mean. I migh try out the AVR230 though I heard there was some issue with it.
