Denon 3803 vs Yamaha 2400

Wow that 6ave deal is pretty sweet and is making me think of switching my order of the 2400 from tweeter over to the Denon 3803. Few quick questions on the 3803 if you can help.

1. Any pro reviews of it on the web?
2. Power wise can i get very very loud in about 2,500 cubic foot room?
3. Sound type(Warm,high??)
4. Quality of the whole unit?

Now don't bring price in this. Let's just say each is the same exact price. Why would you pick one over the other.

Tough one. I know the 3803 pretty well, and have played with the 1400 but not the 2400. My personal opinion, if they were both the same price, is that it'd be a coin toss.

Thanks for your input, it seems in looking around most people feel the same way. The features on the 2400 edge out the Denon 3803. I really liked hearing dolbyIIx, it will make my 2 rear speakers get a bit more use on just normal 5.1 tracks. Plus the setup mic is awesome.

What if i throw the VSX-55TXi from Pioneer in the mix at the same price point. What would you think then??

3803 is last years model which is being phased out, while 2400 is newer model. It would be a fair comparison to compare it with future 3804. At the same price point with your choices, I would choose 2400.

Go with the one, that you like the way it sounds better.
I just happen to love the way Denon power amps sound myself.
