These receivers really aren't comparable, IMO. I'm sure the Denon 1803 would be the cheapest. Of all the receivers you listed the HK AVR 325 is the highest quality receiver, although because it is last years model, it can be found for a very reasonable price (but still probably higher than the AVR 230 or the Denon 1803/4).

what are you getting over last year's receivers? (ie. 330 vs 325 and 230 vs 225)

"Improved" styling

Seriously, on the lower end models, 6.1 and everything that comes with it (DD-EX, DTS-ES, DTS:Neo6), component video switching, and most importantly, PRE-OUTS. Some differences in power ratings, but it's not as if they will make much of a difference.

The 230 has many features over the 225 including, 6.1 processing, component video switching, 7.1 pre-outs and adjustable Xover bass management.

I don't think the 330 is the direct replacement for the 325. It's list for $799 while the 325 was $899 when introduced. Plus the 325 weighs about 8-9 lbs more and adds the A-bus port plus RS-232. I think the HK 430 is really the replacement for the 325.

I wouldn't trade my 325 for the 330 but would consider the 430.
