Upgrade possible?

I currently own a HK AVR-225 and have been looking at the new 230 series. It looks like it offers alot more and is something I would really use (especially for the video). I paid $400 for the 225 brand-new about 2 months before the 230 came out. If I were to call HK up would they be willing to do a trade since this reciever is pretty much brand new and the price paid for it is somewhat close to MSRP? Thanks.
