Outlaw Internet Radio

At one time did Outlaw have an Internet Radio of some sort. I went to their web page and could not find any info.

Thanks

Bob

I seem to recall that the project was shelved. Perhaps someone else could shed additional light on why this happened (or didn't happen).

I think the product was called the IR1000

Basically there were some legal issues that came up that prevented its release. I believe the design was complete and tested and they were just that legal step away from starting production.

Yes, in fact I was the infamous "Beta Tester #1" for the 950. I had mine for about a year and a half until I switched to a Lexicon MC-8.

Rather than boring everyone with the details here, I have a full explanation of the upgrade path and my reasons on my HT site.

The executive summary: The 950 is still a great unit for under $800. The Lexicon offers a lot more in terms of flexibility, etc. but this comes at a mich greater price.

Check out the Turtle Beach Audiotron. It does internet radio as well as MP3 streaming from a computer.

Ah, I remember that....

I was on the pre-order list for the 950, it just took too long to come out, got a great great deal on a Carver C1000a, sold that cause i wanted to go to separates, and bought a RSX1055 to use as a receiver and later a pre/pro...

now rethinking it, i think im going to dedicate my future spending on making the best 2 channel system...
