Receiver Subwoofer Signal Output...heeelp!

I have an old Denon AVR3000. It doesn't have sub signal level control. Is there something out there I can buy that can boost the signal to the sub amp? Thanks!

Would your sub happen to have dual inputs like on my Cerwin Vega LW-15?

It has a "left" and "right" input...it sums the two input into one and signal going in is doubled.

My receiver only has a single Sub Pre Out. I use a Y-adapter to turn my one input into two. I had almost NO output out of that sub until I got the Y adapter. It was like night and day.

Yeah, I base all my HT purchases on the WAF, too. Wallet Acceptance Factor.

Hi Mike! Maybe I didn't explain correctly.
The sub is passive. The receivers mono out is not sending a strong signal to the sub-amp. Can't boost it. I believe your answer is refereing to a powered sub.

Yes! A Behringer 1500 in mono-bridged mode.
