Anyone think B&K will offer this new format.

Send a message via AIM to ChrisLazarko
I'm sure all the major manufacturers will.

Well, I wouldn't look for it anytime soon since B&K just changed their model offerings one year ago and they don't tend to change models more than once every three or so years.

At this time no B&K products offer the new Dolby prologic IIx format.
I'm sure if the format actually takes off at some point the offering will be available in the form of an upgrade.
But lets keep in mind that the format press release was made this past September in Indy at cedia.
I really don't feel anyone is going to really notice the absence of this DPL IIx anytime soon.
Frank joe, the upgrade does not include DPL IIx

I just had my REF 30 upgraded and it does not include DP IIx nor does B&K intend to include it anytime soon I don't think a lot of manufactures are going to hurry to include it.
